Overview

Pomodoro is a local-first workspace for habits, tasks, notes, goals, records, and AI-assisted planning.

Pomodoro is designed to be local-first by default. Some optional or account-based features require data to be transmitted to cloud services so that users can authenticate, sync across devices, use AI features, transcribe voice input, manage subscriptions, or receive reminders.

Data Pomodoro handles

Account and authentication
Pomodoro may process your email address, authentication information, nickname, user ID, and account profile details when you register or sign in.
Profile information
If you add profile information, Pomodoro may process your nickname, avatar, and related account settings.
Cloud sync
When cloud sync is enabled, your projects, habits, tasks, notes, records, reminders, statistics, and related app content may be transmitted to and stored through Supabase.
Voice input
When you use voice input, microphone audio is sent through a Supabase Edge Function to OpenAI for transcription. Temporary local recordings are deleted after processing.
AI assistance
When you request AI assistance, relevant context may be sent through a Supabase Edge Function to DeepSeek or OpenAI so that Pomodoro can generate a requested suggestion or preview an action for your approval.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing. Pomodoro does not directly process or store payment card numbers.
Reminders and app diagnostics
Pomodoro may process reminder settings and technical information needed to deliver requested notifications, maintain security, diagnose failures, and improve reliability.

How data is used

Pomodoro uses data to provide the requested app experience, authenticate users, sync user content, process voice transcription, generate requested AI assistance, maintain subscriptions, deliver reminders, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and respond to support or privacy requests.

Pomodoro does not sell personal or sensitive user data and does not use personal or sensitive user data for third-party advertising.

Sharing and service providers

Pomodoro may share limited data with service providers that help operate the app:

  • Supabase for authentication, backend storage, cloud sync, and Edge Functions
  • OpenAI for requested voice transcription and AI assistance
  • DeepSeek or OpenAI for AI assistance requested by the user
  • Google Play for billing and subscription management

These providers process data only as needed to provide the requested services, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, or support billing and fraud prevention.

Security

Pomodoro uses HTTPS and modern encryption in transit for transmitted data. No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect user data.

Retention and deletion

Account-linked data is retained while needed to provide the app, maintain the account, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and support billing or security requirements.

You can request deletion of your Pomodoro account and associated data through the Pomodoro account and data deletion page. You can also delete selected app content without deleting your account.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated as Pomodoro changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. For privacy questions, contact support@unriso.com.
